This week we are reading up on various travel blogs and websites in some preparation for our round the world trip planning. I have always had a love for the big cat family, so one of my musts is to travel to Africa and experience them in their natural habitat.. and what better way to do this by going on safari and visiting a Cheetah breeding program in Zambia and volunteering for a couple of weeks to really get that true experience. As a conservation company, Mukuni Big 5 looks to be one of the highlighted being so close to Victoria Falls. The Volunteer Program aims to breed and release animals into professionally managed Wildlife Reserves all around Zambia so I am happy that they have a genuine interest in the endangered species and want nothing but the best for them. As we are starting to find our favourite places to pin on the map, it soon dawns on you that you literally can't see and do everything you want. We would rather travel slow and experience what the World has to offer, rather than following the tourist route. Let's get off onto the beaten track and really see what life is like on the other side!

This week we have been very busy setting up our blog and all the social pages whilst living our busy life at the same time. BUT we've managed hurrah! and Kate is currently on her way back to Wales for her THIRD Christmas with her family. Anyway we both look forward to providing you all inspiration of the best places around the world to visit. Whether they are the top attractions perfect for a city break, or a hidden gem that is well worth a visit off the beaten path!

A BIG hello from us! Adam and Kate, a British couple who love to travel. We are just starting out with our blog which is well on its way to being up and running (as you can see). We hope to plan out our future round the world trip with blog posts, tips we've already picked up, pictures of places to visit and a general travel vibe. As we do this we aim to give others (that's you!) inspiration to taking the plunge and travel.. whether it's a few days or 18 months! So our initial plan is to fly East to West across the globe, as do many others so we've recently discovered. By the looks of this, it seems the prices of flights is cheaper this way which must be the main reason it's the current trend.
